Meanwhile, Mr. Saleh Husin, Managing Director of Sinar Mas, mentioned, “The donation from Sinar Mas’ various business pillars constitutes part of the business world’s solidarity in the fight against this pandemic, particularly around their areas of operations.”
As of 9 August, data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force of Kota Jambi showed that the city had recorded a daily increase of 103 COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infected cases to 1,764. The recovery rate in Jambi is at 157 persons per day, with the total number of recovered cases standing at 5,141. “This donation helps ensure the availability of oxygen in Jambi would be sufficient for the next seven days, allowing us to maintain secure oxygen supplies,” said the Deputy Chief of Police.

This collaborative effort to meet the oxygen needs of the Jambi provincial government was made by Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food’s business units in Jambi and PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry.
