| Eka Tjipta Foundation ("ETF") is a non-profit organisation founded by Eka Tjipta Widjaja’s family on March 17 2006.
ETF aims to enhance the quality of life and foster self-supporting society by providing sustainable contribution through various programs that are economically viable, socially equitable and environmentally sustainable. The Foundation’s programmes have benefited thousands of people across Indonesia. For example, it restored 5 elementary schools in Yogyakarta that were destroyed by the earthquake on 27 May 2006. Through the "Economics for Life" education programme in collaboration with Junior Achievement Indonesia, ETF teaches entrepreneurship and professional business practices to 3,500 high school students in East Java.
